This trian struck train H-PTRSTL9-28 (BNSF 4349, BNSF 4866, ATSF 609, 22 loads, 45 empties, 4222 tons, 3809 feet) as it was taking siding. This resulted in the derailment of the three locomotives on G-SJOLAR9-26 and four cars (OCPX 62871, DOWX 79567, DOWX 79678, and NATX 82801) on H-PTRSTL9-28. This series of photographs documents the recovery process from first light through the ballasting of the installed track panels late in the evening.
