NS train No. 314 rolls along the shore of Lake Pontchartrain behind a trio of Union Pacific SD40-2s: 3424, 3973, and B4251. This area of New Orleans East is known as "Little Woods". The train will continue to curve along the Shore of Lake Pontchartrain until the end of double track at X Tower and then will cross the lake on a 5-mile trestle to North Shore and Slidell, LA.
