CP 9809 and BNSF 7098 on the KCS Fuel Pads         
A KCS machinist sits comfortably in a dumpster as he awaits his next task. CP 9809 leading southbound Kansas City, MO to Baton Rouge, LA crude oil train OKCBR25 sits right where it landed at 11:42 AM the day before, staging for Exxon spacing on the New Orleans Subdivision. Recently arrived Kansas City, MO to Alliance, TX unit sand train OKCAL26 with BNSF power will spend the remainder of the day right here on the main at Heavener spacing for the Fort Worth Western Railroad account there are two more of the sand trains ahead of it "in the pipeline" as they say. KCS has put a crew on duty at 11:30 AM today for the crude oil train to open up a route through town...total dwell on the fuel pad in Heavener for the OKCBR25 was over 24 hours.
