Empty Paducah, KY (Grand Rivers, KY) to Grand Junction, UT coal train E-PDEGJC9-02 was diverted to the Palmer Branch off the BNSF Ravenna Subdivision at Aurora, NE to go into surplus storage. The coal power was taken off at Lincoln and replaced with GP40 3014 and GP40X 3035 to comply with the 4-axle locomotive requirement on the Palmer Branch due to track condition.
