Title:  BNSF 2817 on X-PSALIN3-11 in "Coal 2"
Description:  Empty grain train X-PSALIN3-11 arrived at BNSF Hobson Yard in Lincoln, NE at 1557-CT-15 on track 902 (Coal 2). The road power (BNSF C44-9Ws 4379 and 4918) was stripped from the train and the 98 empty grain cars destined for customer ADM at Havelock, NE were held in 902 until the customer was ready for them as ADM Havelock was still loading the cars arrived on train X-PSALIN3-02A. PSA symbol trains are received from the Puget Sound and Pacific Railroad at Centralia, WA. These empty trains originated on the PSAP at AGP International Terminal 2 in Aberdeen, WA. BNSF GP39M 2817 was put on the train in Coal 2, seen here, on 12-17-2012 and will be used by BNSF Yard Job Y-HAV1501-17I to transfer the 98 empty grain cars to ADM Havelock after lunch.

Description:  Empty Paducah, KY (Grand Rivers, KY) to Grand Junction, UT coal train E-PDEGJC9-02 was diverted to the Palmer Branch off the BNSF Ravenna Subdivision at Aurora, NE to go into surplus storage. The coal power was taken off at Lincoln and replaced with GP40 3014 and GP40X 3035 to comply with the 4-axle locomotive requirement on the Palmer Branch due to track condition. Three coal trains will fit on the Palmer Branch. Two trains were already in storage on the branch before the E-PDEGJC9-02 arrived so this train (104 empties) will take the third spot. Here the power has run around the train and is seen operating eastward through the BNSF Aurora Yard to clear the Palmer Branch switch before shoving the train up the branch. In the yard is the Aurora Roadswitcher (R-NEB4311-09) power - BNSF GP39M 2817 and BNSF B40-8W 556.
