A good bit of switching is required to breakdown the inbound UP train and rebuild the outbound NOLR train because of the short track lengths and main line configuration in Gretna, LA. Leased L&D CF7 1501 is paired with NOLR GP7U 2180 (A.K.A. "Barney") creating a very colorful power combination.

Here we make moves with a loaded grain train down the middle of Madison Street in Gretna, LA. This train was delivered to the NOLR by the Union Pacific at Gouldsboro Yard in Gretna and the NOLR will take the train to the elevator at Myrtle Grove.
