Description:  Dan Munson took this photo of me as I dismount the lead locomotive on train Z-CHIDEN9-17 as part of a banner stop during operations testing on the BNSF Hastings Subdivision. This train was flagged past a red signal at East Sutton by the train dispatcher requiring the train to operate at restricted speed. The crew did an excellent job stopping short of the banner obstruction placed on the tracks in the curve ahead.

Description:  Westbound BNSF Breckenridge, MN to Etter, TX grain train G-BREETT5-15A rolls by West Edison on the BNSF Hastings Subdivision with ES44DC 7207, C44-9W 4748, and C44-9W 986, 100 loads, 0 empties, 13011 tons, 6990 feet. At McCook, the BNSF 986 will be combined with ES44DC 7634 and put on the rear of the train to depart for the Colorado Division in 2x2 DP configuration. The new PTC signals loom over the soon-to-be-retired searchlight signals. To the left is BNSF 7910 with the head-end of grain train G-BRDKIN9-15A which was parked on two elevator tracks for spacing for the Colorado Division because of crew issues. At this time the NOC has put a 6-hour calling restriction on loaded grain trains westbound out of McCook, NE.

Description:  Westbound BNSF Jasper, MN to Friona, TX loaded grain train G-JASFTX9-16A sits parked at Oxford, NE on the BNSF Hastings Subdivision waiting for a calling slot out of McCook, NE. This train has BNSF ES44AC 6409, SD70ACe 9277, 110 loads of corn, and rear DPU ES44AC 7460. At McCook, C44-9W 1064 will be added to the rear to meet the Colorado Division 2x2 DP confuguration requirement. At Oxford this train is cut for a crossing.
